Who we are

Athena Sols is a software development studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit athenasols.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to any client project we deliver.

Information we collect

We do not operate accounts or a contact form on this site, so we collect no information you type into it. What we do collect falls into two categories:

Information you send us directly

If you email or message us, we receive whatever you choose to include: your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply and to discuss potential work together.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This includes pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device type, and browser. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use two kinds:

  • Necessary — one local entry remembers that you dismissed our cookie banner, so it does not reappear on every page. This never leaves your browser.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits and traffic sources in aggregate.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

How we use your information

We use it to respond to enquiries, to understand which content is useful so we can improve the site, and to keep the site secure and working. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the analytics providers named above and where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed for the business relationship and our records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we process it, and to withdraw consent for analytics. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below and we will respond.

Third-party links

This site links to external sites including our social media profiles. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
